I have a handful of Jap RPG imports that I found were easy to enjoy. Falcom Classics I and II - Both of these contain remakes of some of Falcoms older games. The main draw here are the great remakes of Ys I and Ys II. The menus and stats are in English. I recommend these. Wachenroder - Like a steamp...

Does your Interact memory card look anything like the on at the top of this page? http://www.rockin-b.de/saturn/cartridgeport/SATURN-CartridgePort.htm These memory cards were notorious for failure and corrupting files. I had one and a friend had one. We bought them new back in the day and his died w...

Just wanted to update everyone and post a few pictures. My Viking Phone Line Simulator finally arrived! It was new and after shipping it ran me $89.00 on Ebay. Everything worked perfectly the first try. There was no lag when the game ran and my girlfriend and I played several matches and the connect...

I have high hopes for Sonic 4. Most of the "bad" Sonic games that people talk about are the 3D ones. I don't think Sega has ever made a bad 2D Sonic game. I mean, don't get me wrong, they aren't all gems, but overall the 2D style Sonic games have always been pretty solid. I HATE digital di...

Hey Warp! I wanted to let you know that I'm bidding on an Ebay auction of the VIKING DLE-200B PHONE LINE SIMULATOR that you linked to. It's almost half the price that the website had it for. I'm sure after a few bids the price will go up but *hopefully* I can score it for under $75. The auction ends...

Phone-line simulator, huh? Y'know, that would be a GREAT way to demo the NetLink at cons and stuff like that... raise awareness of the little black box. Maybe inspire the mod community to develop NetLink patches for Saturn game ROMs. That's one of the reasons I would like to try this. I used to go ...

Awesome! I did a bit of research and found a review of the product on Amazon and with the specs listed on the page you linked to It looks like it should work. In North America, the standard ring cadence is "2-4", or two seconds of ringing followed by four seconds of silence. According to t...

Partly true. You definitely can't just connect the two directly together. To dial out, the Saturn requires a dial tone, and to pick up, the Saturn requires a ring signal. However, you don't need two phone lines to do this. The only way to do this without using two phone lines is by using a telephon...

This is awesome! I have been wondering if something like this would be possible for quite some time, but I certainly had no idea of how to go about it. I'm somewhat technically inclined... I have 2 saturns, 2 netlinks and doubles of some of the Netlink games but because most people I know have...

Yesterday I met a guy that was wanting to sell me a bunch of N64 stuff for real cheap. I went over to his place and ended up scoring some Saturn stuff as well. I got: Street Fighter Alpha 2 X-Men: Children of the Atom Marvel Super Heroes All 3 were MINT and complete (Even had the original foam block...

Saturn Vs. Jaguar!?!?!? Awesome! I look forward to your comparisons. I have Rayman for both systems and I thought the Jag version was VERY impressive, especially for when it came out. But the Saturn treatment was a bit more polished from what I have played. They added a few more SFX here and there (...

Thats awesome! I knew that you could change the Red Book audio tracks for Turbo Grafx games but I never realized you could do the same thing on the Saturn. Although the Turbo Grafx was region free for CD games so it was much easier to do. I never realized that Duke Nukem 3D came out on the Playstati...

As far as I know the Playstation did not have an original version of Duke Nukem 3D. That was one thing for Saturn owners to brag about at the time. Both Saturn and N64 owners got Duke Nukem 3D and Quake 1. Playstation fanboys got neither. I also really admire what you are trying to do with the syste...
