I think there was a youtube videogame reviewer named snowcon3 who said the perfect quote regarding this game; "If your into modern day shooters like Halo, then this game won't appeal to you, but if you grew up playing the Doom, Blood, etc, then you will feel right at home." Personally, I'v...

Again I vanish off the face of the earth, sorry for not keeping this updated! I've been in a bit of a financial crisis as of late - so bad that I had to sell a large % of my gaming collection (it is after all a financial asset sadly). As a quick recap on this topic, once I get back to my loft I'll p...

Found another game; Hyper Reverthion, a Japanese release fps type game. Has heard that it works, and the box has the link logo thing, will give it a try for verification. edit; more info on the game; its a prequel to Steeldom, which is a pretty good virtual on clone. The only review of the game I co...

I've been having a lot of fun with this set up. A slight update; I've began working on a custom vs arcade setup, that features two saturns & two dreamcasts, that will have back-to-back vga (flatscreen) monitor displays. It will have a drop-down sort of controller mechanism, where the controllers...

discarded the cases :( I always sell them to an old game retail store closeish to where I live. I've never been the type to show off what I have, and even have all my dvds in a giant vaults case. A library of media doesn't quite go with the antique look of where I live, and no knows what I ha...

This would be a good idea to throw around at any community that favors any console with a link option (ps1, dc, xbox, ect). You might get a lot of attention from the original xbox community as currently to get it online you have to do some modifications to your system. Giving that community the idea...

I can do a continuity test on a cable if you like? I was wanting to do that just to see if it was a strait pin-to-pin for the saturn-to-saturn connection.

I'm not too familiar with a multimeter, but I'm sure I can also figure out which one is the voltage & grnd.

Thats a great idea, but I don't think it would work 100% as fast as having two consoles next to each other would. I think (i'm not certain on this at all), that when you do a vs link game, one console acts as a "host" for the game, and the other console just inputs its own information in t...

Ok, I've been a little side tracked by social life, but I'm still playing with this quite a bit! Here are a pile of pictures showing off what I have, comparing cables & boxes, and some paperwork. If anyone has any experience reading japanese, please do share! Here are the 3 box sets I've been ab...

I have a victor vc2 & vc20 somewhere, I think the vc2 is still sitting in my saturn. VCD's are fun! Not all of the import ones are bad, you can find great humor in some movies like From Beijing With Love. I didn't even consider the idea of burning movies to play back on the vcd card. Is there an...

I downloaded it on my Wii, which was a mistake. Some of the wiimotes have a different sort of d-pad than others (all official, motion plus doesn't make a difference). Out of the three official Wiimotes i have, only the original one that came with the system has a d-pad that makes the game playable (...
