Re: Cost of Playing on the Netlink

I dont yet own a saturn or a netlink, but once I do I could play netlink games semi-often. My parents have unlimited analog phone service to the usa and canada. So I could keep or bring my saturn there when I visit and play netlink. It might be awhile before I get a saturn though. I just got a genes...

Re: Which Browser Are You Using?

I've been using firefox for years. Haven't really tried the alternatives much. I downloaded and used chrome for a few days, but that was only because you could play Angry Birds for free once you did that lol. I didn't like that game much either haha. Chrome seemed alright though.

I havent played any of the old duke games, so I'd feel dirty if I played this new one first. I need to find some time to play the old duke nukem game.

The old hardware is not totally dead. it probably can make a come back but the lack of people wanting to help is whats keeping it dead. ive got pretty much all the necessary data and files to get it running or to create a new server but i cant do it alone by myself. ive been documenting and re-sear...

Well isn't netlink for sega saturn only usable through analog phone lines? You guys seems to have a thriving community of people able to deal with that here. There are lots of people who still regularly play old consoles, and I am sure there is a segment of them that would be very excited if the cou...

I personally don't have much of an interest in XBand 2.0 while its only on PC as an emulator of sorts, but if this project ever went forward enough so that old consoles could work with Xband again I would be extremely excited about that. Maybe other people felt like me, I don't know. Still, thanks f...

Thanks for that list. Super Mario Kart, NBA JAM, Kirby's Avalanche , and Doom on SNES sound interesting to me, although I never have played these on SNES.

Is there a list anywhere that says which games worked with Xband back then? I never owned a SNES back when Xband was out and I still don't have a genesis yet. I am curious to find out which games worked with Xband.

Well this sounds pretty awesome. Personally I have little interest in playing old games online through an emulator acting like xband. Since aren't there already lots of other emulators out there that let you play roms online with people? But if this could make it so you could play these old games on...
