Since I think it is going to be tough for even all the active members to play each other (with long distance fees, etc.) I think the best method for stats would be just a list of active players and their record beside them (WINS-LOSSES). Any kind of leaderboard is a good idea, though. That'll keep t...

Congrats on finally getting up and running. Duke's a fine game to start on, since you can wander around and have fun without necessarily having to stick to just game playing. I had a lot of fun just messing around and exploring with my buddy when we connected. Sega Rally's a beautiful cruise, though...

Jerry, if you're looking for a good, cheap RPG for the Saturn that isn't turn-based, then look no further than Dark Savior. I think it's a better game than PDS, anyway, not to mention about $135 cheaper!

As I understand it, the Japanese NetLink no longer functions because of the card slot, but Wikipedia seems to suggest otherwise. I was planning on getting Virtua Fighter for the prospect of actually playing a fighter online, but I remember my hopes were dashed on another forum. The SegaNet server th...

The model two is easier to install a mod chip in and the model one is easier to use the swap trick with. That's the only difference that I know of. Yeah Ive heard that. I might get my Model 2 modded some day down the line. Not now as I want to collect all the original material games. The only reaso...

Congrats on the game, guys. It's always a major accomplishment these days to actually get a game going, especially one that doesn't drop out or freeze up. Hopefully this is just the start to another NetLink revival!

Bomberman is awesome to play, period. A couple years ago I got an 8-player match going with two multi-taps, that was some serious fun. I've never taken it online though, I'd love to try the two versus two as well. Edit: As for using the keyboard in the games, I don't even think that's possible. I do...

Nice videos, Jerry; it was good to see all the actual NetLink play too. Brings back good memories of when I took mine online for some Duke action, as well. Hopefully down the line you'll be able to make a video for each game, that would be great. Getting two people to legitimately own Daytona is a s...

You got it, man. I'll have to go to my girlfriend's place, since my line is VOIP and will just lag out over longer distances. Just let me know.

You lucky guys in the US - shipping is so dirt cheap internally. We have to pay $11.50 to ship a game within Canada. On the flip side, though, if we ship 12 games, it's still $11.50, but doing the bulk thing happens way less than it should with retro gaming!

Okay, I know this marks my third post in a row... sorry about that. But the thread doesn't get bumped when I update. I ordered the FireWire cable I need to hook the camera to my computer. Provided everything works properly, I'll make the videos the day I get the cable. (I only spent $1.60 on the ca...

I should give D a try... I'm still looking for another horror game that I'll actually enjoy. The only one I ever got into was Eternal Darkness on the GameCube. Maybe D will be the next one? maybe, but D has an interesting twist. small excerpt from a guide: RULES OF THE GAME - There is a two-hour ti...
