If you want the ultimate GHOULS'N GHOSTS pickup the Master System version (better the European version, since the US one is on the rarer side being one of the final releases for the system). It plays great and best of all has a shop that's been added to upgrade your gear (no other home version has t...

Man, the VOIP incompatibility drives me crazy. It's a Catch 22 - with VOIP you can get some insanely cheap long distance rates, making it possible to finally connect with anyone over the world, yet the VOIP latency makes it near impossible to sustain a connection. There's got to be a way to make it ...

I'm definitely going to go and pick up Virtua Racing, Space Harrier and After Burner. I picked up Doom complete on ebay for $4.99 shipped and Star Trek Starfleet Academy for $19 shipped. So the only other 32X games I'm interested in are The humming bird game, Knuckles Chatoix, Blackthorne and Tempo...

space harrier and after burner are some of my fond childhood memories and one reason i was getting a saturn (besides the fighters). but now you say its better on a 32x? hurm... i guess i will have to get one of those eventually! maybe i can score one of the cool japanese models. thanks for sharing ...

Space Harrier plays awesome on the 32X. For me it's the best port of the game to a home console. The Saturn version is way too sensitive and something about the graphics just seem off. The 32X version plays like a dream. Same with After Burner. Add in the solid ports of Virtua Fighter (with added ca...

I have no desire to play modern games...with one exception: Valkyria Chronicles. That game looks beautiful, and it's nice to see SEGA back doing traditional RPGs. Whenever they try their hand at it they seem to have great success - why they don't do it more is beyond me! I don't have a PS3 though, a...

Ninja Gaiden was boss, but it started getting stupid in the second(?) game where the weather conditions would just randomly change throughout the level and there was no longer any technique to wall jumping. Seriously go out and buy Duck Tales. It's like $5 on eBay. Or better yet get Little Nemo, tha...

The Dreamcast, even though it died early, at least game Sega some respect. The Saturn rubbed people and developers the wrong way but at least DC had some legs, a really nice library when all was said and done. It was inevitable that Sega wasnt going to survive making systems but Im glad they at lea...

Happy Dreamcast Day indeed! I shall be playing some Ecco, Rayman, Toy Commander, and Pen Pen Triicelon. Pen Pen is so awesome. :D Haha, yeah, Pen Pen is great. I was practically inundated with screenshots from that game when I started following the system during it's Japanese launch. There was that...

I'd say get a cheap Saturn. I won a Saturn for $2 and another for $3 on ebay and they both work fantastically and one came with a memory cart. I'm always willing to go up to $5 for untested systems as they can be good for parts, cases for painting or just might work. I just got a model 2 SNES that'...

The beat'em up definitely got neglected on the Saturn after having been so successful on the Genesis with Streets of Rage, Altered Beast and Golden Axe. We got Three Dirty Dwarves, but who really cared about that? I think of all the ones mentioned I would have liked to have seen a polygonal Altered ...

I never had any problems with Croc, but that's interesting nonetheless. I've always been a fan of the game, although I haven't really played it since it first came out. At the time it was exciting to have a lush 3D platformer on the system, since we were still waiting for Sonic Xtreme. It's too bad ...

There aren't too many video games that go for over $400, so I don't think there's anything to complain about with this. It's been almost three months and still not another game... The thing about this, though, is that even if you buy it successfully, the reality is that you really won't be able to p...

All the Capcom NES platformers own. Duck Tales is the best of the best, and Rescue Rangers is all out fun. Little Nemo: The Dream Master is another Capcom gem, and quite underrated. You get to change into a number of different animals to accomplish different tasks - sort of like what SEGA did (and b...
