Re: Resident Evil Sega Saturn version
I just received my copy in the mail, and I'm starting it tonight. I've played through the Director's Cut (both Dual Shock and non Dual Shock versions) many, many times on PlayStation, but I had to have this for my collection.

Re: Xbox One Restrictions
What's driving this is that developers desperately want to get a piece of every transaction that occurs with their game software... even after the fact. Traditionally, under the "first sale doctrine," intellectual property made into physical form can be resold by the initial buyer without ...

Xbox One Restrictions
http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/06/06/microsoft-details-xbox-one-used-games-always-online IGN recently posted a Microsoft announcement that clarified restrictions that Microsoft will be imposing regarding used game sales and the Xbox One's internet connection requirement. It appears that the days o...

Re: Site Issues
I noticed that in the last week or so, later on at night, there have been some occasions where the hosting provider's DNS server seems to fail. I've rarely had issues with this provider, but let me know if something like that happens again.

Re: My LCD Looks Like Sh*t With My Saturn And Ps2
How much was that VGA box? Mine was about 50-60. I contacted the manufacturer numerous times for a replacement but they failed to respond. I didn't expect an answer. A lot of the cheaper boxes are produced in Hong Kong.

Re: My LCD Looks Like Sh*t With My Saturn And Ps2
I like LCDs. My only complaint is that standard definition consoles suffer from lag on any kind of HD television because of the upscaling. I use a 22" PC LCD that has an HDMI port. Since PC monitors tend to be cheaper, they can be a great alternative. However, they generally lack the ability to...

Are you thinking of DNS redirection? That's all I can really think of at the moment.

Re: chat revival
Ah, the NetLink Zone. In 2006 someone had contacted Sega, and it looked like Sega was willing to put up something at the URL again. The original Zone contained a directory of NetLink users and their area codes to facilitate contact with other users and playing games. The original chat server would h...

Re: chat revival
The NetLink is still capable of connecting to a user-specified IRC server. Type "pwchat://*yourservername*:*port* into the URL bar.
I don't see any reason why it wouldn't still work.

Re: Revived Servers
I've used to play Dungeon Siege. I really like that game. It's a shame that Microsoft shut down the servers. It can't be that expensive. Look at Diablo. It's online since late 1996. A game that I often play is Earth & Beyond. I'm not really into MMORPGs, but this one is really cool. There's an ...

I love Duke Nukem actually. I played it tons back on PS1 when I was little, and Im the only person I know who actually LIKES Duke Nukem Forever lol... Call me a die hard fan! Either way, I always seem to like the crappy shunned games and usually shy away from popular titles. Oh well~ I think the Sa...

Re: New Xband 3CE Screenshots
Ohhh, that's pretty sweet! 16 bit only huh? No Saturn love for the JP Xband? :P That would be awesome, wouldn't it? Although Xband 3 will be for 16-bit gaming (at least as of now), there are some seriously talented developers working on it, and one benefit of this implementation is that the team ca...

Re: New Xband 3CE Screenshots
There was pre match chatting on the original xband too. This new x band can play online too. I see. So again, which platform is this on then? All 3? Saturn? Genesis? I'll give you some background. A few years ago there were some efforts at getting the original Xband working again, and some members ...

Good news- that data is not lost. It's still within the SQL database, I just need to add a field for the data.Rogue wrote: Oh, too bad that the record of the games owned is lost. Is it possible to make something like that again Xranger?
