I know there are ways to conver one image type to another but that isnt what alcohol does, it simply support various types of image file, so will burn it without the need to convert

What program are you using to try to burn the file?

I suggest (assuming you arent using it already) that you download the trial of alcohol 120% that should burn it for you no problem, take a look here to download the trial
