Re: saturn "vs link cable" (new pictures posted Nov 2n
Figured Id throw up another update, just because I miss posting on this forum. So I now have my editing software, video stuff. I also have 2 copies of both Doom JP version and Hexen. I plan on making link cable videos for both hopefully in the next few weeks. If I dont then at least I can look back ...

Re: Carters Retro Reviews
Carter I dont know if you have thought of this before but ever think about spicing up your background? Its just 2 white walls and a guitar. I know alot of retro youtubers have their collections or some posters in the background. Makes it a bit interesting. Or a green screen

Re: Resident Evil Sega Saturn version
Growing up I played Res Evil 2 first like seemingly most. I remember when I had a PS1 I rented RE2 and beat it over a weekend. Great game. Code Veronica was also fantastic. And sadly the last real survival horror one. To me Resident Evil only exists as 1,2,3, and CV. Everything after that is merely ...

Resident Evil Sega Saturn version
Been a while so figured Id post. Halloween is around the corner and I like to play through certain games like Silent Hill and RE this time of year. When going through my collection I realized I may have only ever played through Res Evil 1 once my whole life waaay back in the day. So I decided to pla...

Re: Carters Retro Reviews
Carter I assume you are doing alot of lets just say "undesirable" common title reviews because of the cost of buying Saturn games?
Reviews are good though. I dont mind because most people doing Saturn reviews steer away from the Nascars and the Congos.

The lurkers are still here. We try to keep it going. We all come in go in bursts of a few months.
Still have a desire to eventually play some Netlink down the road but as it stands nothing since the heyday of 2009-2010

Re: Carters Retro Reviews
Keep in mind I may be the only person in the world that likes Congo and its heavily based on nostalgia, my love for subsaharan Africa AND old school fps AND the sega saturn. So you have a lot of crazy far fetched variables lol. Powerslave is great because once again it started as a saturn exclusive....

Re: Carters Retro Reviews
Carter I actually missed it but you did a review of one of my guilty Saturn pleasures Congo. Back in 95 FPS games still werent very common especially ones taking place in a Jungle. Also being a console/saturn exclusive FPS I wanted it even more. I never got it until he 2000s when I had my own Ebay a...

Carter I forgot to mention I like the new format. You go right at it and you have a set progression to the review video. Makes it so much easier to watch and keeps the viewer engaged the whole time.

Thanks for the push rush! Basically where im at now is Im literally figuring out a new editing and capture software/hardware. My other two video on youtube of me playing Netlink games (xDerekRx is the username) were done sort of the old school way. Trying to make the Hexen one look better. Everythin...

Thanks Carter!
Also great review of Steep Slope btw. The later Saturn titles IMO look and play very well.
