Re: New netlink player
i have a sega saturn netlink with virtual on and sega rally. how do i direct dial to someone to play? Do you have the regular versions or the NetLink versions? It's a critical distinction. Basically, you need the game, the Saturn, the NetLink modem, an analog (not digital) phone line, and, if you'r...

Re: Is anyone out there?
It's true that these forums aren't all that active. I'm sure the fact that the number of people who have everything that they need to play is dwindling is one reason. Another would probably be that there are only five NetLink games compatible with the US version, so playing those few over and over a...

Re: Is anyone out there?
Welcome! We're out there, for sure! =P The problem is that the people who both have access to their equipment and still have access to an analog phone line are few these days. Digital phone lines with unlimited calling are common, but unfortunately rarely work well with the NetLink technology. When ...

Re: New netlink player
I... don't know. I do own a Saturn keyboard adapter, PS/2 keyboard, the system, and the game, and I'm pretty sure I also own the mouse... but I'm several thousand miles away from them all. The keyboard is certainly compatible with the post-game chat, but I don't know if it's useable in-game. I doubt...

Re: New netlink player
I did a little research. https://www.calix.com/systems/p-series.html Under Features it says: Both TDM voice and VOIP (SIP, H.248, MGCP) are supported, including TDM voice over Ethernet. Then there's https://portal.calix.com/portal/calixdocs/p-series/ontop/ae700/cms-ae/R3.1/index.htm?toc4462639.htm?4...

Power off your fiber optic modem. If your phone can still dial out and connect, you're most likely on an analog line.NekoCahlan wrote:Even though my internet was switched to fiber optic, I'm not sure what my actual phone runs on anymore. Is there an easy way to test if it will still work?

Re: Sega netlink in Russia
May I use Netlink modem with NTSC/J Sega saturn? It will physically fit in the slot - I don't believe there's any type of region locking on Saturn peripherals. However, peripherals will only activate if there's software designed to use them. I have a Japanese MPEG decoder card in my NTSC/U Saturn, ...
