Dreamcast date/time memory battery

The battery on my Dreamcast must have gone bad since the unit no longer can maintain the date and time when the unit is shut off for more than a few hours. Sega says this battery is NOT a user replaceable item and that I need to send it in to have the battery replaced. I don't mind opening the case ...

Was there an "official" Saturn carrying case?

I recently picked up an "official" bag for my Dreamcast and I've had "official" carrying cases for my PS1 and PS2 for years. Was there ever a bag offered by Sega for the Saturn?

If so, does anyone have a photo of it?

Including the most frustratingly long and difficult level in existence - The Icy Lake. I'm still recovering from that one... So I'm not the only one that got stuck at that spot? I think I avoided playing that game for about a year when I got hopelessly stuck on that level. I finally got past it and...

I'm so jazzed I have to tell someone!

I'm so jazzed I had to tell someone who could appreciate how I feel. I sent my Saturn in to be fixed at a local used game store (only $15.00 to repair it!) because the cart slot didn't work. It really hadn't worked well for all the years I've had my Saturn and I bought this one new. A friend had che...

I do indeed have the Daytona NetLink edition. The book/cover says NOTHING about it being a NetLink game (see scan below). The game includes the Daytona CCE book and a separate book for the NetLink features. If I recall correctly I got this game as a free or rebate offer from Sega. I hope this info h...

Does anyone know where I might be able to find one of these for a reasonable price?:

Looking for a decent copy of Saturn Bomberman

I recently bought a Dreamcast and it's started me on a vintage gaming quest. I've rebuilt my Game Gear collection which I sold off years ago and with the Dreamcast I now have a pretty robust Sega collection. Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 are great! Anyway, along the way I've been picking up a few Genesis,...

I have to believe it is a setting or logon/password thing since can see it connect. Concentric, well, XO Communications now, hasn't been much help at all but then I can't expect them to provide any support for a ten year old project that has only one or two users out there.

Not exactly a bad "guy", but I still distinctly remember my first experience with the T-Rex in the first Tomb Raider. That game alone was the sole reason I got my Playstation and have thus turned into a huge PS fan. This was reinforced by Sega exiting the console market.

Hmmm. The two Saturn memory carts I have don't work either but then they were always kind of finicky. I've tried my memory carts in another Saturn with no response either but perhaps my cart port is bad. I had the machine apart once and saw no obvious problems. I still think it may be ISP related si...

Can the NetLink still be used to connect to the Internet

I mistakenly posted this in the Saturn forum first. Anyway, ..... I fired up my NetLink after a long period of nonuse and found it cannot make a connection. It dials, connects, tries to log on and then disconnects. I don't know if there is a problem with my hardward but I'm using the PlanetWeb 3.0 b...
