Saturn Bomberman on XBLA!!

Post by GLAKENATOR »

Saturn Bomberman is rumored to join the Xbox Live Arcade for the Xbox 360. That's the downloadable content you can get. It would have full online play. It is undergoing an evaluation process now by Hudson. Here's the link:

This would be awesome. I like how Street Fighter 2 will be coming with online play to the Xbox Live Arcade network. Although Hudson said that Bomberman is currently only under evaluation for XBLA, if this came to the system, it would be hard to pass up Xbox 360.

If you ever get the chance or see Saturn Bomberman available, pick it up. You would love it. Another good choice is Bomberman Online for Dreamcast.

As far as I know, Bomberman Online's network functions have not been resurrected yet, hopefully they will be someday. But at least Saturn Bomberman will be possible as long as there are landline phones.

That's the tricky part. It may be possible that one day the Bomberman Online network server could be emulated, because the game includes an option for specifying the server. I'm convinced that anything could happen.

Yeah nobody really knows for sure when it comes to games coming back online, as it stands at present it would be almost impossible to incredibly difficult to get them back online...however if certain information end up in the right hands those chances could change significantly...but until such a time its pretty safe to say that no games...excluding PBA bowling and possibly tetris online (which have slightly more chance)...will be coming back online any day soon :(

Cheers, Craig
