Site Upgrade

Post by Xranger60 »

I've just upgraded to the latest portal software for the league. This is a big one. You should notice a lot more things are consistent now, for example, the latest news posts accurately reflect the last post. There are visible upgrades to the screenshots section as well, along with everything else in the portal. There's going to be more changes in the next day or two while I incorporate some of the newer features in. I'll also be fixing up the things that got returned to defaults after the upgrade, like news post images. So check it out, let me know what you think.

Thanks a lot guys. I think the biggest changes have been the forums are now integrated completely with the site, and I finally restricted the page width so it won't stretch and look nasty in full screen. I still want to do some more work to make it less machine-like and more of a Sega Saturn/Xband feel.

LOL!!! You found me Rogue!!!

I'm a member over at the DP forums (Wraith Storm) as well as Grolt... I posted there to try and make people aware that Saturn NetLink gamers are still out there and *Hopefully* steer them in this sites direction.

I'm just trying to spread the word... because I REALLY REALLY want to do some NetLink gaming on my ol' Saturn!!!
I own: Saturn Bomberman, Duke Nukem, Sega Rally and Virtual On.

That would look really cool! It would certainly give the site a very hardcore underground gamer feel. The SegaXtreme site used to give me that feeling before their site redesign.

However, as the site stands now I really like this site. It has a very clean intuative feel. A perfect start to draw NetLink games together.
