Anyone goto PAX East in Boston this year?
Im hooked and will be going every year. Amazing event. A gamers dream no matter if you like new old or whatever.
70,000 people showed. Massive event. CAnt even begin to describe it.
Ive never gotten so many limited edition swag items and tshirts before. Even won a Gold Medal during an NHL 94 tournament.
Its almost too hard to explain the amazingness of this convention unless you already know about.

I went last year and really enjoyed it. I just couldn't justify going this year, as I didn't know if I would have the money, and I couldn't have 2/3 of the managerial staff at work gone for four or five days.

I had press passes but couldn't go because of last minute car issues. Really bummed. Next year!

The free swag alone was worth the trip.
I got about 15 t-shirts. Most were limited edition PAX giveaways. I got home and saw the Mortal Kombat one go for around $140. Should pay for my next years trip.
Probably the coolest Limited item at the expo was a Chibitersu plus doll. Capcom table sold them for $40 so I grabbed one considering they only made 300 total. Saw one end on Ebay for $250 when I got back.

Yeah, I thought about asking one of my friends who went to grab a Chibiterasu for me... but I wouldn't want it for reselling - I'd want it to keep. I didn't like the design, though, and I didn't want to have him go through the trouble of picking it up for me, so I didn't bother.

The plush is almost too damn cute for words but I havent played Okamiden yet. They also had a Chibi pillow.
