Your Favorite Decade?

Post by Xranger60 »

Some people might not have a "favorite decade," because they don't look back at all. But others, for whatever reason, feel as though they preferred a certain time period. So what was your favorite decade, or time period, and why?
Willing to play Bomberman, Duke Nukem 3d, Virtual On, Sega Rally. Send me a PM.

For me - probably the fifth generation. That's when I was most into gaming, and many ideas still seemed original. The N64 was my first, but eventually I got a PS1 and a Saturn.
I have my Saturns, I have some of my games, I have a RasPi. Gotta put all this stuff together!

For me, it was roughly 1994-1997. I loved the music and gaming. I enjoyed the grunge and post-grunge eras, stuff like Pearl Jam, of course Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Catherine Wheel, Dishwalla.

Gaming-wise, Xband made me happy, I liked to play some Doom on the PC, and I was big into the Genesis NHL games. I liked Resident Evil, even though I was too young to play it. Always read my GamePro cover to cover.
