Question about Duke3D netlink and nights 3d controller

Question about Duke3D netlink and nights 3d controller

I know that there's a code that allows for turok-type controls, via the analog stick and d-pad. This is also a cheat code, and I'm pretty sure cheats can't be used online. So could I use this control set up online?

Another question, is it very laggy with 2 players on Duke3D? How well does it play? I'm thinking about getting it, since Duke3D is one of my favorite pc games and I still play it online on the PC.
