I should do a recount of what I have, too.
Thanks, I'm pretty proud of it but some of you here put my collection to shame with the sheer volume of titles you have. But then I try to not use eBay most of the time. I really enjoy the crate digging aspect of the hobby but it's just getting harder and harder to find titles for my retro systems, especially my SEGA systems. I go to used game stores and all the SNES games are like ordered in a glass case but all the Genesis games are unceremoniously piled in a bin. Also, I'll be lucky to see maybe five titles each for Master System, SEGA CD, Saturn or even Dreamcast and even if any of them are any good at all, I probably already own them.

Atari 2600
Game Boy
Turbografx-16
Genesis
SEGA CD
Nomad
N64
32X
Dreamcast
Saturn
Game Boy Advance
Master System
Game Gear
DS
PS2
Wii
PSP

I no longer have my 2600 and I haven't done a count in many months but it should be about 290 games across all platforms at this point (not including PC). I try to keep a pretty distilled collection of the best of the best for each system because I also have a pretty extensive collection of DVDs, records, as well as books and space is limited. However, none of my collections for any system is yet complete and there are still systems which I'd like to start new collections for.
Hey, I like that. Listing as it was purchased. Here's how it works for me:

NES
Game Gear
SNES
Genesis
TurboGrafx-16
Saturn
PlayStation
Nintendo 64
Dreamcast
PlayStation 2
GameCube
Xbox
Master System
Sega CD
Sega 32X
Wii
Xbox 360
Atari 2600
That's fly.

They are both just as good. The CD-tray has never failed on my FZ-1 in the 16 years of use mine has had. But the FZ-10 does have a built in memory manager. But those are easy to come by on discs. It's more about looks than anything. But don't bother with the Goldstar, crappy CD trays, compatibility issues with a few games and hate CD-Rs.

niiice list. I've been considering getting an NES or a SNES lately but what I REALLY want is a Turbografx-CD. Sure there are probably less than ten games I want for it and most of those are shmups, which as gorgeous as they are I can rarely get past the first few levels so I'll never see it lol. But none the less, that would be nerd-tastic to own.

Well, I ordered myself an FZ-1 and an FZ-10. The FZ-10 claimed that it only has an RF adapter and that the controllers have frayed wires (although the unit itself was in good condition), so I decided to grab an FZ-1 as well with a proper composite RCA cable and good controller. (Note: I didn't realize that the systems didn't have specialized video-out ports like most game systems nowadays when I ordered the second 3DO.)

Systems that I currently own or will be mine when I move out (not counting systems that the family purchased that will not become mine or systems that I no longer own):

Nintendo:
Game Boy (grey)
Game Boy Pocket (clear)
Game Boy Color (teal)
Game Boy Advance (white)
Game Boy Advance SP (pearl blue)
Nintendo DS Lite (white)
Nintendo DSi (teal)
Super Nintendo (mini)
Super Famicom (original)
Nintendo 64 (original black/gray)
GameCube (jet black, have Game Boy player and Broadband Adapter)

Sony:
PSone (will probably become mine)
PlayStation 2 slim
PSP (model 2000, silver)

Microsoft:
Xbox (black)
Xbox 360 (white, Pro model, has a 120GB HD)

Sega:
Sega Genesis (model 2, with Sega CD 2 and 32X)
Sega Genesis CDX
Sega Saturn (one model 1, two model 2s)
Dreamcast (two, one working and one needing repair, one Broadband Adapter, several VMUs)

Other:
Atari 400 (8-bit home computer/gaming system)
Atari 130XE (8-bit home computer/gaming system, with tape drive, with 5.25" floppy drive, with modem)
Panasonic 3DO FZ-1 (tray-loader)
Panasonic 3DO FZ-10 (top-loader)

Order of obtaining my systems (as best as I can remember)

-Atari 400 (handed down from uncle ~1996, used)
-Atari 130XE (same uncle, same time as the 400, he kept his 800, used)
-Game Boy Pocket (gift from parents, 1997 or 1998, new)
-Nintendo 64 (joint purchase between me and parents, sometime after September 1999, new)
-PSone (purchased new by parents for the family, late 2000)
-Game Boy Advance (gift from parents, June 11, 2001, new)
-Xbox (purchased new by me ~2002)
-Nintendo DS (original grey, purchased Dec 2004, sold March or April 2009)
-Game Boy Advance SP (new platinum or silver, purchased April/May 2005, sold in 2006 or 2007 when I purchased another one)
-Playstation 2 (black, slim, purchased by me new in late 2005 or early 2006)
-GameCube (jet black, purchased by me used from eBay sometime in 2006)
-DS Lite (white, purchased new by me around June 11, 2006)
-PSP (black, PSP-1000, purchased used from GameStop sometime in 2006, sold late 2007)
-Game Boy Color (teal, purchased used from GameStop sometime in 2006)
-Game Boy (original grey, got it free from a box of things to be thrown out November 18, 2006)
-Xbox 360 (white, Pro, purchased used from a coworker around April 2007?)
-GBA SP (pearl blue, purchased new when I sold my older one)
-PSP (silver PSP-2000, purchased new in late 2007)
-Dreamcast (bought used from eBay late January/early February 2008)
-Saturn (model 1, bought used from shady used game store March 2008)
-Saturn(s) (two model 2s bought used from eBay in September 2008)
-Genesis/CD/32X (model 2s, bought used from eBay in October 2008)
-Super Famicom (original, bought used from eBay January 2009)
-Super Nintendo (mini version, bought used from eBay January 2009)
-Nintendo DSi (teal, bought new April 2009)
-Dreamcast (broken, found and given to me by brother, April 2009)
-Sega CDX (bought used from eBay June 2009)
-3DO (Panasonic FZ-10, bought used from eBay July 2009)
-3DO (Panasonic FZ-1, bought used from eBay July 2009)

FINALLY got around to listing my systems. Maybe I'll get around to taking pics at some point. Now I need some good 3DO games. The included football games don't do much for me, nor does Family Feud, and I don't feel like building a Theme Park. I played that game on my grandfather's Mac years ago, anyway.

Yeah, RF, RCA and S-Video jacks. Plus some games are in Dolby ProLogic for your listening pleasure.

One of the two controllers that came with the FZ-10 had an earphone port on it. I want a game that takes advantage of the audio capabilities of the system.

I need suggestions!

I had to think about it for a good long time. I started writing that post a day before I finished and posted it, and made a paper list in my free moments throughout the day. I also spent time researching when certain things came out on Wikipedia; I tend to remember when I got things in relation to other events, rather than actual dates. You don't have to put your list in order if you don't want to.

Off the top of my head FIFA International Soccer had ProLogic surround sound, Total Eclipse was a game with great music.
