Netlink server client

Post by ASSEMbler »

Greetings to all, I was recovering data off some 1GB drives I
got from a developer and there seems to be the netlink client.

I don't know if anyone here has insight into the workings of
netlink, but I thought I'd post anyways to see who might be around.

The contents of the folder are:

No one on my side has seen saturn development files like this.
I intend to release the files, but I would prefer to have a few
wise people look them over first.

Interesting. Unfortunately, I don't know what it means either, yet. =P

Are there more files associated with this? It seems to refer to quite a few.
I have my Saturns, I have some of my games, I have a RasPi. Gotta put all this stuff together!

No programmers around? I can offer up the decompiled code.
The drives are in an archaic file system, once I have them extracted
I'll drop them here.

There any big saturn forums that might have some programmers?

I'm a programmer - but right now this doesn't mean anything to me. It looks more like a list than actual code of any sort. Maybe it's a save file for something else?

Actually, looking closer at it... it's probably a file for a printed circuit board layout. "Layers", "Traces", and "pads" refer to things you'd find on a PCB, and "PCM" I believe stands for "Printed Circuit Maker" or some other similar program. "Leading" - leading edge? "Absolute" for absolute locations on a grid instead of relative, "English" for the English system of measurement, instead of Metric... PCB is a printed circuit board...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure we're looking at a list of files associated with some circuit associated with the Saturn, probably part of the dev system, as noted in the comments. Perhaps this is a PCB for a cartridge that would plug into the Saturn's cartridge slot for development purposes?
