Reunion thread from ConsoleCity.com forums

Last post is from May 2005, but have you guys heard of or still have contact with any of those people? I found in one of my many searches for former xbers.

Hey thoudx, thanks for the find. I haven't been in contact with those people, but I wil definitely give it a look, see who may still be active. I see your site list is expanding nicely too.

I will have to go through that list of people on there. I'm going to try to use every available resource to contact every possible NetLinker and bring them here. This is just a community waiting to burst open. If you guys think you can help, please do.

That's what I've been doing for Xband peeps, and it's paid off big time. Since Friday (4/20), I've heard from over 40 Xbanders. And it wasn't easy. It took a ton of Google/Yahoo/MSN searches, joining forums, and mass emails. But it's working for me, and I'm sure it will work off for you too.

Thoudx, I have to say, your site is pretty damn cool. It's about time there was a site like that for Xbanders to contact each other. Good job! There hasn't been a site like that since about 6 years ago (Xband Universe-by Bowser?!).

Yeah, he and I had some free webspace somewhere online, and out of the blue, they shut down. I'm not sure if he was able to salvage much, but I sure wasn't. We kinda took a break for a few years, and did our own thing (still kept in touch on LiveJournal all these years). He's still busy working with brinstar.org , and I wasn't really up to much. So last week, I just decided to jump on this.

Nice. I remember over at the Xband universe there were some pretty fierce arguments that broke out between former Xband members. Overall very entertaining. Good to have a central hub again.
