What are some of the best (non-US) imports for the DC?

Post by Scooter »

I recently got Shenmue II, the Euro version which drove me to get a region code breaking boot disc. I can now play Japanese and Euro imports on my US Dreamcast and I'm eager to try out a few of the best games that were never available in the US.

Suggestions for the best not-available-in-the-US games for the Dreamcast are welcome. Euro games are preferred so I'll at least be able to read and hear things in English.

There isn't much else for good Europe-only games besides Shenmue II and Headhunter. Japan has a few good exclusive fighters and shmup's, games that don't really require much reading.
...I'll think of one later, read something else.

It's a stealth action game mixed with a sci-fi storyline, so it'll play like Metal Gear Solid. It was released on the PS2 in fall of 2002, but the DC got a PAL-only version of the game in November 2001. It goes for around $45-$60 on Ebay, I think (USD).

I wouldn't recommend Last Hope though unless you have excellent eyesight and reflexes. Enemy bullets look exactly like the debris thats always floating around.
