Hey, I'm attempting to do this so I can sent AT commands to my infrared phones (I've got 2 infrared enabled ones). I love the idea of typing the message on my psp, and sending it via infrared, and being able to read the message on the psp as well. Now, it's not the most practical, as the phone and psp have to be close together, and at least within line of sight, but it's more of the "cool" factor.
Willing to play Bomberman, Duke Nukem 3d, Virtual On, Sega Rally. Send me a PM.

Ahhh.

If you want to use a keyboard, then why not use an IR transmitter with a PC?
I have my Saturns, I have some of my games, I have a RasPi. Gotta put all this stuff together!

Haha, funny that you mentioned it. Not only can I do just that, but I can do so much more conveniently with bluetooth. My brother has often said to me "I don't see the point of this." I just wanna do it with my PSP :).

I didn't make it, and it's not much, but here.
Looks like it was started back in 07 and no recent progress. Maybe someday

Reading through that thread, it looks like it was never actually a project... just kind of a port-and-dump kind of thing. No intent to ever support it, just a quick and dirty thing.

Yeah I kinda got that impression after a few posts insulting the creator.

Well... just yesterday I fixed the Dreamcast. I finally got around to ordering a replacement fusable resistor for the controller port. Last night, I removed the old one and soldered in a new one. After that, I booted it up, set the date and time, and started playing a game of Sega Rally 2. =P

The optical drive is a lot noisier than my primary Dreamcast, though. Anyone know anything about that?
