New, boxed Dreamcasts for $15
http://www.thinkgeek.com/electronics/retro-gaming/ba52/
I remember reading on Kotaku when Thinkgeek started selling new boxed DC's for $100. Well I was browsing the site and saw they are going for $15.
They mention the Black sports edition not coming with the black controller but when I went to buy one I didn't see an option to get one. so either they sold out or it's random if you get one. I'm assuming they sold out of them. I really would have loved having a Black Dreamcast...it'd look funny with my BBA though.
Even though I've already got a few DC's I went ahead and got one...just to get one complete in the box for $21 after shipping is a great price. I'm going to ebay off one of my old ones

Well the price is hard to say no to even though I've got 3 Dreamcasts sitting around. But having a fresh one would make me feel a lot better, I don't know how many hours have been put on the ones I have. Who knows maybe this one will be able to read that enhanced PSO disc.

Oh dear I have to make a confession, I have 10 Dreamcasts..lol
Actually make that 11 if you count the divers 2000 as well
The tally includes 1 brand new PAL DC and one brand new US NTSC DC
All are working, although one or two do have the occasional disc reading problem where the drives are a little worn out.
I always felt I needed some spares..lol

I think that might count as overkill. =Psegadreamcaster wrote:I always felt I needed some spares..lol
I've had this idea kicking around recently, that if I had a whole bunch of the same console kicking around, I'd mount them on my wall. I'd still leave them connected so that I could power them up and use them, too. It wouldn't work so well for the Sega CD's, but it would be fine for the CDX, any system where the disc clips onto the drive spindle, and pretty much any cartridge system.
I have my Saturns, I have some of my games, I have a RasPi. Gotta put all this stuff together!
