1 was good, the most inovative of course, but MAN the multiplayer abilities and speed and fluid gameplay of sonic adventure 2 was SUPERB, i fell into that story like no other, i even have the soundtrack single! the introduction of Shadow the Hedgehog and all the other characters, plus the side games with the Chao, and collecting things for them made it very unique!! It may not have been as adventuresome as say Mario 64esque Sonic Adventure 1, but it was straight to the point of each level.. i did enjoy both, but i believe 2 blows 1 right out the door!

As a single player game Sonic adventure was far superior to my mind...however Sonic adventure 2 did have a great 2 player option :)

Up here, I only have my Gamecube/Saturn, so at least I can play Sonic Adventure 2 for Gamecube! Yet another game I need to get into.
Willing to play Bomberman, Duke Nukem 3d, Virtual On, Sega Rally. Send me a PM.

I love both games, but I think SA2 is better.

Sonic Adventure for me. Just more of that weird Dreamcast feel that all of the cool games had. :P

Definitely SA1 for me too, I just loved the adventure fields and hidden emblems, and the game just had more of a classic sonic feel to me. :]
Currently have:
Duke Nukem 3D
Saturn Bomberman
Virtual On: Netlink Edition

Just PM me, IM me, or the like if you'd like to play with me, I'll respond as soon as I can!

SA1 is the only one I've played, but it's definitely a really good game. One of these days I need to find SA2 somewhere...
I have my Saturns, I have some of my games, I have a RasPi. Gotta put all this stuff together!

Only have one....

I own and have only played 1, but I think its a great game. If the second one is roughly the same type of gameplay and story then i would think that they both are excellent adventure games.
