I just won a killer auction on eBay, so now we can add the following to the list:

Dragon Force
Shining Force III
Shining the Holy Arc
Saturn Bomberman
Fighters Megamix
Night Warriros

I'm still scoping PDS and Sonic Jam though.
That's fly.

Snagged them in a poorly listed lot on eBay, along with an original model Saturn and two controllers for 200 bones. Considering Dragon Force and Shining Force III alone could pretty much go for that, I made out pretty good!

Finally got my Sonic Jam, and what a game that is. The other great Sonic collections on other consoles might have more games, but that 3D world blows away most other Saturn titles alone. The time attack missions were a great little bonus, and it really makes me wish that SONIC XTREME had made it to completion.

In addition to Sonic Jam, here's what else I've picked up in the last few weeks:

Enemy Zero
Mansion of Hidden Souls
Virtua Fighter Remix (Long box)
Resident Evil
Area 51
Rayman
Daytona USA (Long box)
Galactic Attack
Steep Slope Sliders
World Series Baseball '98
World Series Baseball
Worldwide Soccer
Worldwide Soccer '97
NFL '97
NBA Action
NBA Action '98

If you couldn't tell from that bottom slew of outdated sports games I'll never play, I'm trying to top off a collection of first-party North American Saturn titles. I'm at 52 unique first-party titles, but I've still got a few more biggies to grab.

Here's what I have left:

Congo: The Lost City of Zinj
Dark Savior
Daytona USA: CCE NetLink Edition
Die Hard Arcade
Guardian Heroes
Golden Axe: The Duel
Hang-On GP
The House of the Dead
Mystaria: The Realms of Lore
NHL All-Star Hockey '98
Panzer Dragoon Saga
Sega Touring Car Championship
Sky Target
The Legend of Oasis
Three Dirty Dwarves
The Lost World: Jurassic Park 2
Winter Heat
Worldwide Soccer '98

By my count that's 70 total first-party titles that Sega released during the Saturn's lifetime (not counting the Working Designs ports of their Sega of Japan games). Once I get that accomplished, I'll work on Saturn exclusive titles. After that? I'll probably die of old age. :D

Here's my latest update:

Magic Knight Rayearth
Iron Storm
Guardian Heroes
Baku Baku
NHL All-Star Hockey '98
The Lost World: Jurassic Park
Powerslave
Quake
Dark Legend
Gungriffon
Sega Touring Car Championship

Only 13 more first-party titles to go!
That's fly.

I've bought a lot this last month, and am coming oh-so-close to finishing my collection. Here's what I picked up recently:

Albert Odyssey
Amok
Cyber Speedway
Dark Savior
Die Hard Arcade
Golden Axe: The Duel
Hang-On GP
The House of the Dead
Multi-tap adapter
Mystaria: The Realms of Lore
Shining Wisdom
Sky Target
The Legend of Oasis
Virtua Cop 2 w/ Stunner
Winning Post
Winter Heat

That leaves me with only 8 more first-party titles remaining before I complete my collection.

Battle Arena Toshinden Remix
Battle Arena Toshinden URA
Congo: The Lost City of Zinj
Daytona USA: CCE NetLink Edition
Panzer Dragoon Saga
Scud
Three Dirty Dwarves
Worldwide Soccer '98

Of all the scouring I've done this last year, the most surprising thing is probably how rare Worldwide Soccer '98 is. I haven't seen a single copy go on eBay. I even saw a Daytona USA: NetLink, so either everyone burned their copy or it had a super-low production run. :D Congo has been incredibly elusive too, while the rest of them I am all sort of just sitting around waiting for a good deal. The end is near, and now I've started up collecting for the Master System, so with one closed door another opens, it seems. 8)

Great finds!

^^

Oh, I never saw a copy of Daytona USA NetLink for sale... =/

But, hey, I think the topic has changed... o.O
Maybe is better create one like: "Post when you buy any game", or something...

Well, I bought some games since last post, I'll post them later... =)

Ever closer to completing my Sega Saturn collection, I reached a milestone by finally getting a complete PANZER DRAGOON SAGA at a sub-100 dollar price. There's just so many of them out there on eBay, I figured there'd bound to be one that would fly under the radar, and this one finally did. So now, all I need:

Battle Arena Toshinden URA
Congo: The Lost City of Zinj
Daytona USA: CCE NetLink Edition
Scorcher
Three Dirty Dwarves
Worldwide Soccer '98
That's fly.

Congrats on getting PDS for a steal, and good luck with Daytona USA CCE Netlink Edition. Anyway, I may soon be getting a few more Saturn games, I found a guy who took an ad out to sell his Dreamcast and he also mentioned selling his Saturn stuff. So far the only game he confirmed he's sure he still has is Fire Pro Wrestling: 6 Man Scramble, and likely has a converter (or Action Replay) to go with it. Hopefully I'll soon receive a full list of his Saturn stuff so I can get an idea of what it'll cost me.

I think I've got about 20-25 games for the Saturn. I bought mine from a swap meet about 6 years ago, played it a little and was wondering why there weren't more games for it. Didn't realize it did much better elsewhere and man what great games the US version missed out on because of that. My games include the following:

Alone in the Dark
Battle Arena Toshinden URA
Black Fire
Crypt Killer
Dark Savior
Daytona USA
Doom
Duke Nukem 3D
Defcon 5
Enemy Zero
Ghen War
Grid Runner
Gungriffon
Machine Head
Mechwarrior 2
NBA Action
NHL All Star Hockey
Panzer Dragoon
Panzer Dragoon 2 ZWEI
Saturn Bomberman
Sega Rally Championship-Netlink
Resident Evil
Revolution X
Romance of Three Kingdoms 4
The Legend of Oasis
Virtua Cop
Virtua Fighter
Virtua Fighter 2

Wow, I never knew I had so many till I gathered their titles together. I might have a few more boxed away but only by two or three. I've only finished three titles, Dark Savior, Saturn Bomberman and Jills game in Resident Evil. Maybe less than an hour to beat Chris's game.

Well, I guess I can bring my total of Saturn games up to 7. On Saturday I got the following stuff:
Model 2 Saturn (US) and Power cord
2nd gen US controller
Action Replay cart w/ box and manual
Wrestlemania the Arcade game (my new game) complete
Virtua Fighter 2 w/ sleeve and manual

BTW I paid $20 for all this, and everything's in great shape, plus now I have a model 2 I can mod it.
...I'll think of one later, read something else.

Nice to see you adding to the collection, Nightmare. And Hakaider, that's quite the set you have there...you shouldn't be so modest! You should give LEGEND OF OASIS a go, that's a beautiful game.

So I'm coming incredibly close to finishing my first-party Saturn collection. Here's all I need now:

Battle Arena Toshinden URA
Daytona USA: CCE NetLink Edition
Scorcher
Wipeout

URA and Scorcher I can both get for five bucks a pop, but I'm just holding out for a cheap lot of some kind. Daytona will continue to elude me for years, I'm sure, and Wipeout has been hard to find at anything other than set price auctions. I'm in no rush, though.

I managed to pick up a few games over the last month or so:

Virtua Fighter Remix (Longbox)
Congo
Three Dirty Dwarves
Worldwide Soccer '98

I had been searching FOREVER for that VF Remix longbox, and then lo and behold, two popped up in the same day...so I snagged 'em both! It's a relief finally having that one.
That's fly.
