Did anyone ever see the white saturn.

One time a couple of months ago I came across a picture of a white saturn.

Yup, those Saturns are Japanese. Really cool looking, also not too expensive to get on Ebay. If you've wanted a Japanese Saturn, might be worth it to go with the white.

Totally digg the way these things look! Gotta be careful though because they discolor real easily. Leave it in front of a window or direct sunilght for a few days and BAM! it becomes a nasty yellow color. Something to do with the type of plastic used I think, alot of PC-Engines have the exact same issue.

I think the stock japanese model 1 saturn look pretty sweet too. Grey, black, and blue with the disc access light...niiiiice

Yeah, the discoloration of white consoles is always an issue. One of my relatives went to pull out his old SNES the other day- Almost entirely this nasty yellow except, curiously, the strip of plastic around the game cartridge slot, must have used a different plastic for that part. Not pretty unless you dig "Nasty Yellow."

Hahahah. Frothy yellow is quite a good way to describe it. Not too pretty. Good thing frothy yellow syndrome doesn't affect gameplay!

Yeah, I haven't noticed any discoloration with mine either, although I had to buy a 2nd one last year, got REALLY lucky and found an EB that had one or two left for $20!

Yeah, I notice EB still manages to carry some DC goods from time to time.

Oh yeah dude, they are nice. I think they've got a little more character than our straight black consoles (which still look pretty slick). Plus, the japanese Saturn logo & startup sequence is sweet :)

Yeah it really is sweet. The only reason I know is because I've tried a few emulators out, and one of them was with the Japanese bios.
