The Dragoon has landed

Post by xDerekRx »

Panzer Dragoon Saga has arrived. Its basically mint condition through and through. Im very excited. It was very weird holding this game for the first time.

I feel like Im not ready to play it though. I didnt plan on buying it yet but the price wasnt worth passing up. I have to find the right day to play it :) I might run through PD 1 and 2 just to get the flow going.

Sweet. I've been curious about the game for several years, ever since I heard a short part of the story. Still haven't played it yet, though.
I have my Saturns, I have some of my games, I have a RasPi. Gotta put all this stuff together!

Ive only played the first two, which are both rail shooters. But I just love the Panzer world and atmosphere. Even though Im not an RPG guy, Im still looking forward to playing the 3rd chapter of the series regardless of the genre. Also excited to be able to move freely around. Im pegging tomorrow as the date I finally load it up.

Glad it arrived safe and sound. Have fun with it, it's got a detailed story, but at the same time is simple and loose enough to just pick up and immerse yourself in whenever without worrying about missing out on the story. I spent a lot of time just running around the various cities or flying around in that graphically lush water level.
That's fly.

was it encompassed by a golden glow of light? the legendary, the majestic, mythological Panzer Dragoon Saga! i guess it is a meaty game because it comes on four discs and has such a status and reputation among informed gamers.

I felt nervous and weak when I first pulled it out of the envelope.

I felt this overall importance like Im holding the game. Like somehow now my bedroom is like a sanctuary that holds a treasure.

I honestly felt more overwhelmed when House of the Dead came in the mail. I bought it from a guy who said he took the plastic off the day before selling it and I believed him when i got it. Its still the most mint Saturn game ive ever touched.

But Panzer Dragoon Sagas... I take it off my shelf each night and just look at it.

Even well before I bought the game, the cover always amazed me. Its hauntingly beautiful, like a painting.

Ill have to post on this thread the day I pop the first disc in. It has to be a day where I have nothing else on my mind. Like meditation :)
