HELP

Post by phatgamer »

I have the SEGA silver (I guess PAL) VCD Card. I understand that if you install this peripheral and play JAP Rpgs you will view the better quality CUT Scenes.

Good, BUT...

What I would like to know, though, is how you use the VCD card to watch VCD movies.

The only reason I would like to view VCD Movies on my Saturn is because I have TWO Movies.

One is the Japanese Movie WINNING RUN About the Racing Career of AYRTON SENNA,

The 2nd Movie is the Original English Version of FLAMING STAR an Elvis Presely Movie with Chinese Sub Titles.

Both are legit VCDs, not SVCDS.

Do I need a JAP Saturn, DO I need to INSERT an Action Replay also ? ?

After I install the VCD Card in the back near the battery, what exactly else do I need or what else do I need to do to see these movies on my Saturn ?

Would love a little help from my friends at this great community.

Only certain JRPGs use the VCD card:
"Lunar Silver Star Story complete MPEG version (the only game that *requires*
the card)
Sakura Taisen Hangumi Tsuushin
Sakura Taisen Nekki Radio Show (a.k.a. Steam Radio Show)
Vatlva
Chisato Moritaka disc
Moon Cradle
Wangan Deadheat + Triangle Love
Falcom Classics 1 (disc 2 of the limited edition)
GunGriffon 1 (Japanese version only)"

The above link should help you determine what model of card you have and whether or not it will work properly in an NTSC console.

If your card is in fact capable of working with your console, you simply need to follow these instructions (from http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/saturn/ ... 6393/24462 ):

First turn on the Saturn, with a VideoCD inserted, and load via the Action
Replay software.
On the Main Menu, go to Start Game and press A.
On this screen, you will see a scree saying 'Sart game with selected codes, or
go back... now usually here you hit A to start game, but hit C instead (A
crashes the system).
This takes you to the CD player... it should automaticaly play the Video CD ^_^
I have my Saturns, I have some of my games, I have a RasPi. Gotta put all this stuff together!
