For still screen capturing, emulators work. For video footage, as long as you're running a decent, modern PC they may well suffice, but you really want to be thinking about shelling out on a decent capture system. The Hauppauge HD PVR is good for Xbox 360, but I haven't seen its S-Video capture. In theory, it should be a good all-round device for capturing if you're serious about doing gaming reviews, but expect to pay a good $200 for one.
