I agree scooter, not sure why i cared so much. once i pop the game back in ill get over it.

And youre also right about the walkthrus. NEver a need. With so many save points the game never gets difficult enough for one.

There are some lengthy battle sequences later on without an opportunity to get to a save point inbetween. Make sure to be good at designing your dragon and determining if your gun or your dragon are a better weapon against a given enemy.

And so it concludes. I believe my save said 14 hours of actual gameplay time.

But I completed the game. I must say, fantastic. Just a great game. The battle system is amazing, the two main characters really draw you in with their intensity... Great all around game. I think a few times I tried to convince myself I wouldnt like this game or that just because I spend 160 on it I should like it. But the honest truth is the game is great. Even for non RPG people its very playable.

Id say to those wanting to play it, "rent it" off ebay, well worth it.

Although reports are Gametap may release an emulated version of it (i hope not)

Scooter I PMed you about a couple ending questions.

Good to hear that you've done it!

... Now I kind of want to play. Probably when I finish reassembling my Saturn.

I'd better get on that.
I have my Saturns, I have some of my games, I have a RasPi. Gotta put all this stuff together!

No question. The best way to explain it is simply memorable.

Congrats on beating it. I thought it got a bit tedious in parts near the end when you had to keep going through that labyrinth and fighting the same dudes, but the ending more than made up for it.

SPOILER

The final fight is wonderful, when you get to battle the several different forms of yourself. Great idea, and great execution.

Grolt that really did it. Between the drama, the final battle and the musical buildup.

SPOILER ( I wrote mine in lighter color, just highlight to read, dont want people reading it)

Going through the tower was a bit tedious but it never got to me. It didnt last long enough where I started to get upset. The final battle was cool how you saw flashbacks of all the Panzer games, then you had to fight all the dragons. Very dramatic with the music. The final movie between you and Azel was actually quite emotional. In a way, at first, I was upset there was no conclusion after you beat the boss. But ive grown to like how youre left guessing. Maybe someday the sequel.
