I remember my first time playing Shenmue, just being blown away by the complexity of the world that Ryo was a part of. To experience a world populated with different places and people, was nothing short of amazing. Seeing the Sega Saturn there just solidified Shenmue's claim to awesomness. THAT was a sweet cameo!

I played Shenmue in December 08 I believe and I was pretty impressed by everything in the game. The level of interactivity is to this day amazing. I wish I had gotten a Dreamcast when it came out so I could have really had the Dreamcast experience. I would have LOVED to been able to play Phantasy Star Online...online and experience Shenmue when it was new.

I still regret not getting a Dreamcast when they were first discontinued and being sold for $50 bucks. I still clearly remember getting ready for school and seeing on the news the announcement about Sega.

Well, I remeber finding the special cola bottle. If you went online and selected the bottle you got one of (I think) three prices. When I first found I was so excited I just ran to my father and screamed: YEEEEEEEEEEEEEES! I GOT IT! Good old Dreamcast times...

Well, you know how advanced those Japanese are. They probably had it years before they officially announced it. =P

Time-travelling japanese xD Besides, only 5% of all games get realesed earlier in the US or Europe. Kinda sad... (LOL WTF? Im being melodramatic...)

love seeing stuff like this. Sega should never forget their past. they made an incredible impact on video games and most us grew up with Sega on the brain.

should we be considered time traveling Americans since we play on the Saturn lol Sometimes I feel like Im back in 1995 when I fire that console up. I hope sega keeps reminding ppl that they used to make their own consoles and had their own franchises of games within their company like Nintendo.
