i just was skimming around some of these xband related posts and found that the xband supported multiplayer games used a patch and extracting the sram will let people access them


so has anyone got the xband doom multyplayer patch?

being a doomer myself i'm quite interested in it and wish to get my hands on it.

I don't know if we've ever been conclusively able to determine what patches we do or do not have. Besides, there's no way I'm aware of to transfer a single patch without writing over the entire contents of the XBAND's SRAM, so your user info, XMAIL, and everything else would be written over as well. Finally, just having the patch won't let you play multiplayer. You have to be able to connect to the now-nonexistent XBAND service to match you with a second player.
