Looking for an Xband Buddy

Former Xbanders on SNES or Genesis can get in touch with each other here. Also for people who wish to help with the Xband revival project.

Looking for an Xband Buddy

Post by Tryntius »

Hey there I've figured out a way to control where my xband dials and how to put the xband in a mode that makes it wait for a call, anyone out there with a snes, landline, xband, and Weaponlord to test what will happen if one xband calls another?

I am highly intrigued and wish to know more. I own all of those things, but don't have access to them at the moment. If I'm lucky, maybe I can by the end of the year.
I have my Saturns, I have some of my games, I have a RasPi. Gotta put all this stuff together!

The Xband still needs to have patches for the games, unfortunately, and we haven't found one yet that has any data from back then, as the backup batteries are all dead.

Hello fello xbanders. Is anyone still on here? I played madden 95-97 for Sega genesis. Sure wish xband would come back. Great memories.

I'm still here. I didn't really know about Xband until after its demise, though, and I can't say I know much about football, either. It definitely would have been cool at the time.

Anyone still online with this. I’m up for some MK2 on Genesis.

Do you have your Xband working and sending/receiving Xmail? :)

Yes, same name as here. I have MK2 on Genesis and MarioKart on snes to try out. Supposedly only MarioKart will work right now if using the new servers.

I never had an XBAND keyboard, but I do have the PS/2 adapter for the Saturn's Netlink.
