I'll need testers eventually, but I'm having trouble coming up with a test that will get the results that I need at the moment.
And I don't necessarily need the virtual Netlink to work... I just need to be able to get the information that it would have transmitted.

Do you have any info on the previous guy who was working on this? I've found another possible info lead today on how to get the dump that I need. I've also been talking to one of my professors out here at school, but I don't think he understood what I was asking, and I don't think I understood him. ...

Saturn and Netlink Info - Help Needed
I'm looking for any technical information I can get on how the Saturn and the Netlink communicate with each other. Also, if any information or code is left over from when the last person attempted to transmit the Netlink modem's output over the internet, it would be very interesting to look over. Th...

VoIP by definition connects to a Local Area Network, which is usually connected to a broadband internet connection of some sort, such as cable, DSL, or something better. You don't use a dial-up line for VoIP; you would just use a standard phone for that. And if you HAD broadband internet, why would ...

I actually found my Saturn in a store... I was inquiring at one place, and they told me that they'd seen a Saturn at another store recently... so I went across town and found that they still had it. The R/F adaptor was new in its box, but the rest of the system was used. I've since cleaned it up a b...

I think that's pretty close to VOIP. If you're downloading a lot (or using a lot of internet bandwidth in general) when you're trying to talk on the phone, does it stutter, cut out, or sound choppy? If so, if it's not VOIP, it's pretty close. There's a short delay as a converter changes an analog ph...

Unless communications are captured or one acquires the source code for the original servers, it's usually very hard. This type of thing has to be reverse engineered, which proves difficult. I figured that much out. Well, this probably won't be a project I attempt for a while. I have another one to ...
