Well for those looking to get Japan version of Doom may have to pay. The one I was going to bid on ended at 41$ http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=220364855728 I did notice something odd. The first time I played Doom Saturn I was so let down I had to ...

Yeah Doom is rotten! I really dont know how they ruined it! Ill have to have a look at the Jap version. I assume the PAL version you guys got was the same as our NTSC one. The only thing I can think of is they simply rushed the game in beta stages to the market. Saturn was dieing and they probably ...

Funny, the 32X version of DOOM plays really well. The PS1 version of DOOM is my favorite of all the versions I've played. Yeah, 32x version runs better! PS1 version is solid home port. Xbox Live Arcade probably the best one Ive seen but thats obvious. But how the F$%$ they screwed up the Saturn por...

I just played DOOM for the Saturn. I got a sealed copy for 7 and its one of my top 10 all time games. So youd think Doom being a Top 10 game and Saturn being my favorite system would be a match made in heaven. Im not sure if anyone here has played the Doom Saturn version but its so upsetting. The fr...

I've been spoiled by newer systems. My first time ever playing any Shenmue at all was a tiny bit of Shenmue II on the Xbox, and that was probably no more than three years ago. About a year ago I got Shenmue 1 on the Dreamcast... but it's nearly unplayable for me. I'm very disappointed that that is ...

Shenmue for the DC is one of my all time favorites on any system. Of course, the game was much easier to play when youre a kid and less on your mind, less to do. But I just remember playing 9 hours straight without a VMU and my dad running out and getting one so I could save it and goto bed. The gam...

Re: Saturn game: Astal Ever hear of it?

The thing that kind of caught my eye is that the spine card does not contain the name of the game, only the Sega Saturn logo. It's the same on both edges of the spine card. I've never seen a game that didn't display the name of the game on the edge of the box, in fact, that's kind of what drew my e...

I had to buy it because I never played it and it was only 10$ at my local shop i agree it is unfortunate. japan got all of them of c...

It helps I got a sweet tax return but I told myself Im done spending for now! 1. Panzer Dragoon - I never played any of the...

I've always wondered how Myst turned out on the Saturn. The only other console version of a Myst-series game I've played was Myst 4: Revelation on the original Xbox. It worked well, but the loading it took to go from one place to another or click on anything was REALLY irritating. It just took too ...
