Asking around...this series is really hit or miss with most people. Some think it's a great experience, others find it didn't live up to the hype. I'd just like to know what hype they're talkin' about :P Before I bought Shenmue, I literally only saw 2 commercials for the game...and got it just on AM...

Oh yeah dude, they are nice. I think they've got a little more character than our straight black consoles (which still look pretty slick). Plus, the japanese Saturn logo & startup sequence is sweet

Hey all, I'm a huge fan of Resident Evil. I have played and beaten the Director's Cut, 2, 3, REmake and Zero. I own RE:CV for Dreamcast, which I will eventually play/beat, and Outbreak for PS2, and will buy Outbreak File #2. I'm considering buying RE for Saturn. Anybody own/played the Saturn versio...

Never really played the game that much...sat on my shelf waiting for a decent play through....will get around to it eventually :) . Gotta admit though it never gave me the sonic feel...I felt like I was playing a game that trying to be sonic but wasn't quite it....still a good game from what I have...

I thought it was fun. Some of the boss fights are really nice and the music is sweet! I honestly don't know why so many people dump on it. Sure it's a little different, but I think it works.

I think it's a great idea. I remember Planet Web used to run something like this a while ago. It was pretty cool to see some Virtual On replays, or to check out someones best times in rally. If you've got the space I say it's a pretty sweet idea.

I really couldn't tell that much difference between this and the PSX game. I'm not sure, but is this the only version with the battle-mode??

I'm a sucker for giant robots so I'm gonna say the Guardian's Knight in Thunder Force 5. This dude's final attack totally caught me off guard the first time. One of those "If I'm going down, you're coming with me!" types. Close second would be that giant robot that runs alongside, and then...

Yeah, there are some pretty cheap parts, but I can see why they did it in a game this short. Plus, playing this 2player and watching your partner get owned is always a riot .

Sounds like a good idea. I'm up for it.

Sidenote: I was playing this last weekend, and realized....I'm really freakin' terrible at this game
