You won't regret it dudes! :) The amount of exclusives this system still has is staggering. Most titles in it's library have yet to see sequels or updates on any other machine. The Saturn represents a time when Sega was firing on all cylinders not only in the arcades, but also when it came to origin...

Agreed :D

Looking at some reviews you'd think this was the worst game ever, but it really wasn't terrible. I think most folks dump on it just because it's not the traditional Sonic sequel they were hoping for.

Yeah, if you do it through dial-up, it costs like nothing. You're only paying for the call to your ISP and that's it. DC online games are server based so there's no fear of getting a crazy phone bill for hours of play. All you need to get started is a copy of the game, a web browser CD (to set your ...

Blue is right, there are actually a few emulators in development like SSF and Saturnin. Some are making really good progress too , but a high end PC is still required to get decent performance out of most. Still, its cool that the devs are getting there...I mean the Saturn has what? at least 8 proce...

Yeah, looking at forums online, it's incredible how many XBAND users still remember the names of the people they played against. It must've really been sumthin' to make that kind of an impression.

Hey thanks!

I tried to get some good examples of 2D and 3D. Like while GH swamps the screen with enemy sprites and spell effects, Last Bronx is 60fps High res with at least 3 scrollplanes rotating or scaling at any given time.

Hmm, this is a tough one. Man, just 10!? Bah, I can't decide so I'll just list some good ones...I'm rockin' imports, so here goes: Wachenroder - SRPG that totally went under the radar in 98. Full english guide available on the net and the game itself can be had for under like $12. Plays similar to S...

It stinks that you're so far away segadreamcaster, it'd be great to get some matches going. But at least you've got someone close and 1 is all you really need.

Good calls on Shenmue & Grandia (favorite battle system in an RPG). For me the Dreamcast is all about: Virtual On (suprise!) - Fast & fluid 60fps mecha action. At first it seems all too hard, but give it time and practice and when the depth and brilliance of the gameplay finally hits you...e...

Ah! Good to see the site up again guys :D, everytime it comes back online it just looks better and better (I really digg the clean layout). I think we all appreciate what you're doing Xranger, and it must be really tough to show people the value in using a netlink. But if by some chance they ever ge...
